The In-Building Notification Layer is an essential part of any mass notification plan. Being able to send audible and visual alerts through a variety of notification devices is key to reaching the right audience in a timely manner. Talk-A-Phone’s line of WEBS® Paging Units, Emergency Phones, Strobes and Area of Rescue Stations are examples of notification equipment that can be utilized during crisis management.

Flashing Strobe Lights and a Fire Alarm System*, both incorporated into an In-Building Notification Layer, can alert everyone inside a building about an emergency event.
Meanwhile, the Paging System* and LED Signage* can supply specific evacuation or containment instructions to each unique zone, depending on its vicinity to the event.
*Talk-A-Phone’s OEM Communications Module WEBS-CM-2 enables a myriad of 3rd-party devices to be engaged in a time of crisis. A unified message can be delivered through systems capable of accepting a contact closure and/or a line level audio, such as Fire Alarm Systems, Paging Systems and LED Signage.
NFPA 72® - 2010 Chapter 24 states that each building should be viewed as an independent notification block, capable of receiving a targeted mass notification event. Separating a massive outdoor area into notification zones is no different or less significant.
