The Build America, Buy America Act establishes domestic content requirements for federally funded infrastructure projects. For many projects receiving federal assistance, manufacturers must demonstrate that qualifying products meet specific U.S. manufacturing and sourcing standards.
These requirements help strengthen domestic manufacturing while ensuring federally funded infrastructure projects utilize qualifying American-made products whenever applicable.
Talkaphone's Commitment to Compliance
Many of Talkaphone's Area of Refuge products are compliant with BABAA requirements.
Qualifying AOR products are assembled in the United States, utilize both U.S.-manufactured and foreign-manufactured components, contain domestically sourced U.S. steel where applicable, and include U.S.-manufactured components and U.S. labor representing more than 55% of the total component cost.
Additionally, certain products that do not contain steel also meet BABAA requirements by exceeding the required domestic content threshold.
