AOR-5 and AOR-10 FAQs
I have several fault lights for devices that are not connected.
With the red handset on the hook switch, press the small red orange "Config" button towards the ceiling for about three seconds. During that time the red LED about two inches above the button will start to blink. When it stops let go of the button. There will be a beep and a relay click and then lights on the front panel will cycle through the status lights of the connected devices. This will detect the call stations and the PSTN line.
The AOR-5/10 is not connecting me to call stations for programming when dialing *7x* where x is the station port number. 1-9 + 0 for the tenth station.
Aside from wiring issues, there are two other possible causes for this.
1. The stations have not been ocrrectly identified using the config button.
2. The AOR-5/10 is on an older firmware 1.7 or earlier, and uses *4x* to access stations for programming.
There is no power or battery status lights on the front panel, but both LEDs on the control board are on?
The gray ribbon cable connected to the upper right of the control board is upside down. The red wire should be at the top next to the label for pin 1 that is silkscreen on the PCB.
I want to call the local handset, what should I program as the phone number?
The phone number for the red handset is 5. If you do not program the call station to dial the station status port will illuminate, but the handset will not ring, and the call station will actually be calling the command unit.
