Monitoring

The Emergency Communication System Monitor (ECSM-1) is a server-based application that monitors events on IP-based Blue Light Phones. For larger campus environments, ECSM-1 can also simultaneously monitor events on multiple Area of Refuge systems.

The system provides timely alerts and information through:

• Real-time monitoring of events through a web-based dashboard
• Real-time alerting via email
• Scheduled PDF reports

ECSM-1 monitors the following events on IP-based Blue Light Phones:

• Call placed, connected, terminated, or failed
• SIP registration
• Power up
• Network up/down (physical link)
• Stuck button
• Relay output activated or deactivated
• Acoustic tone test for hands-free microphone/speaker
